Akaash serves as Of-Counsel to The Singh Law Office and handles the firm's Criminal Law Practice.
Akaash was born and raised in Northern California. He is proud to have attended public schools growing up, graduating from Roseville High School in Roseville, California. He then attended UC Davis, where he received a bachelor's degree in sociology. While studying at UC Davis, Akaash became interested in the criminal justice system and its intersection with race, class, and gender dynamics.
Akaash then went on to study at Pepperdine Law School in Malibu, California. His favorite classes in law school were criminal law and trial advocacy. During his trial advocacy classes, Akaash discovered a talent for trial work, winning each mock trial he completed.
After leaving the District Attorney's Office, Akaash decided to found his own law firm. Nagra Law Firm P.C. is based in Sacramento, California, and practices criminal law throughout California. Akaash considers himself very fortunate to be able to defend the constitutional rights of the people in the state where he grew up. He truly appreciates the opportunity to make an impact in each of his clients' lives.
